Its great to have this addition to the stations output”.
Co-Director Cliff Goodwin added, “We are excited about the new programming, despite the challenges of the latest lockdown, the volunteers continue to support the , bringing local content throughout the day for the people of Stone and surrounds”.
Stone Radio broadcasts every Sunday over the internet and all shows are available at any time on a ‘listen again’ basis.
The station aims to serve and engage with the local community, with a real focus on the feel of the station, in keeping with the strap line as the ‘Web’s Brightest Radio Station.
The station has a huge variety of shows. It offers an eclectic mix of music, chat, interviews and local news and gossip.
The project survives through the generosity of its sponsors, with local companies and groups sponsoring shows supplemented by other donations from local businesses and the organisers of events using the outside broadcast facilities.
